12 Feb

Well, here I am slaming the slopes-- ok-ok would you beleive the skiing is great and the weather could not be nicer, high 30;s in the daytime and in the teens at night, the snow is holding up great and snow is min the forecast for Sunday night.

This must be someone else, I can't get this high off the ground.

Friday AM, gondola opens at 0800 and there is a small crowd gathering, not as big as expected for the start of the President's day weekend.
This was taken about 1100 at the Outback Express, you can tell there are more folks on the slopes today, but still no long lift lines.

When skiing the main mountain (Dercum Mountain I often ski all the way to the base and take the gondola back to the top, about a 15 min ride out of the wind.
My son, Travis joins me tomorrow then Joel and Wade come in Wed, looking forward to having someone to ski with,
THINK SNOW!!
