2-3 Feb, Great sking - SUPER COLD COMMING

Donald and I have been at the lifts for opening every day.  Lone peak in the background 12,000 +.  We have had some fresh snow every day and no real crowds, no lift lines, it could not have been muck better.

Lone Peak with sunshine, another beautiful day !
This was 2 Feb, sunshine.  The runs here are long with no lift lines so you can ski until you are ready to stop for a break with $2 a cup coffee.  Well everything can't be perfect !

Lift going up to gondola, which is the only way to reach the top.
This is at the top of the gondola and the visibility was really poor as the clouds passed..  Donald and I stayed at the to and never could see the ski runs down.  Made me feel inadequate when 10 year old's were coming to the pot and skiing the Black Diamonds.
The clouds did lift for a bit.
Donald at the top of Loan Peak ready to ski but the danger of AVALANCHE is the only thing that keep us from skiing down.
Half way down the weather cleared for a moment for this great shot.
Lunch time finds Donald with the 1,00 yard stare,
come from looking down slope thru the snow.
Tink joins AT LUNCH, HE HAS BEEN CATCHING UP ON HIS READING AND BEAUTY REST-- IT HAS NOT BEEN WORKING. Look at the guy in the background, he is holding his ears so he does not have to listen to our ski stories.
The well dressed skier, when the temp is about "0" this is Donald with everything in his suitcase on his body.  I would have shown a photo of Whittington but it looked too much like the Pillsbury Dough Boy!    Hope each of you have a blessed day.  Weather forecast for Big Sky is lows in  -20 next three days, high 4, with SNOW, hope your weather is as nice.
See you tomorrow !
