Sunshine, fresh snow, what could be better???

Day two, first ski day, bright and beautiful, we were up early and it had snowed a bit overnight so we were eager to get to the slopes.
Travis (son) Tyler (15), Connor (7) and Chandler (13 & and already 6' 2") great grandsons.
Good thing we have a pickup, for all the ski gear.

We can even smile early in the morning, we try to be standing in the lift line when it opens, lifts are operating from 0730 until 5PM, makes for a long day on the mountain. This is the before picture.

When we arrived at the mountain to get skis we were surprised at the large crowd. Both the Texas School system and colleges had spring break this week, Wolf Creek is expecting big crowds this week. Lift lines were not to bad today though.

Two lovely ladies, Patty and Jana pose for a shot prior to getting on the slopes.

Patty having a great time on the snow, only later would she discover her leg was badly bruised.

Judith on her last ski run, she has decided to give up skiing for some sport that does not hurt her knees so badly. Sorry to see her go but I still plan to ski for several years (Good Lord willing)

Murry after a long day on the slopes, no he did not fall and get hurt, he looks like that all the time.

Larry waiting for the family, at days end.

The gang after a great family day on the slopes, Wolf Creek may never be the same. I took this shot just before we loaded up to come down the mountain.
Another great day with the family, no one seriously hurt, sunny weather with temps about 42, so near perfect.
