Day 4, Sunny and warm-The best of Spring skiing

Another beautiful day, we stopped on the way home to take a few pictures of the area. 50 on the mountain today biggest worry is sunburn, not frost bite.

Jana & Murray Yance
Travis & Patty Whittington Tyler (15), Chandler(13), Conner (7)

The Whittington / Yance Gang. It has been great to have most of the family here, wish Brooks and Leigh Ann could have joined us, but somebody has to work.

Looking down the valley towards Pagosa Springs.

Conner checks out the helmet, won't be long before he fills it up. Connor is skiing great after two days in school with the Wolf Pups.

All schools in Texas and Oklahoma were out for Spring break the same week and I think most of them are skiing at Wolf Creek, here Tyler and handler stand in the lift line waiting to go to the top of the mountain.

Lunch time is a great adventure, time to eat, nap and lie about how great you can ski.

Tyler and Murray check out the area, still over 100 inches of snow on the ground here at Wolf Creek. (That's 8 ft 4 inches of the white stuff)

You can't fill a teenager up, here Tyler demonstrates the proper way to eat chips, the boy is a bottomless pit.

Lunch time discussions help solve all the worlds problems. With everyone here skiing you would never know we were in a major recession, we are doing our part to support the economy.

Chandler is fast becoming a good snowboarder, the rest of the family has given up on this sport.

Conner learns to ride the chair lift.

Connor has surprised us all, he took to skiing like a duck takes to water, Travis says he skis almost as well as Patty who has skied for a couple of years. The key is to start young.
It has been another great day, sunny, warm and family near, now if only the money does not run out. See you tomorrow.
