I am sitting in the AA terminal at Chicago's OHaria, but can't download pictures because the cable is in checked baggage. BUT--flight has been almost un- eventfull, well almost, Judith is sick, prices (even in the states are ski high) cell phone won't stop ringing and there are lots & lots of folks, I have not seen anyone I know.
Finally have the U.K. phone unlocked and Travis fixed the first computer glitch ( I did not ask the price) Everything is great so far.
We had our first chicago dining experience at the air port, it was a quaint Scottish restaurant, the McDonalds burgers taste the same here as they do in Alabama. You can tell we are living high on the hog.
Judith was the only one that had to remove something from her bag because of overweight, lucky for us she took out 10 lbs of magazines and we went on. Biggest surprise of the day--Susie's bag was the lightest, of course Tommie claims to have lots of her gear in his bag. Tommy wanted peanuts on the flight from Huntsville and the gal told him the free nuts ran out last year. She also told us she didn't have any nuts anyway.
Boy you just sit in the airport and see all kinds of folks and lots of them don't have a sense of humor, Surly, ill natured and just because Tommy was standing on the guys' oxygen tube, we just thought he was having trouble breathing.
We can't figure out which meal they are having on the flight, I told them I wanted my steak rare and they looked at me funny so it must be breakfast.
Temp in Manchester is 66 today, partly cloudly, hope we don't have rain cause someone's bag is going to be on the top of the car, hopefully we will have pictures tomorrow.
Old folks, Judith/Susie--Young studsTommy/Larry
